It is almost the end of the year! This is usually a time when many people look back on the previous year and congratulate themselves for reaching their goal. It is also a time when people think about some of the things they could not do and that they might want to try doing in the coming year. These people usually set a goal or make a decision to do something -- this is called a "resolution". People can decide on any kinds of resolution for losing weight to starting a new job. The most common kinds of resolution have to do with health and the majority of people "resolve" to lost weight, or start exercising more. Others want to quit smoking or cut down on the amount of alcohol they are drinking.
No matter what you choose to do, sharing your resolution with a friend or partner helps you stick to it and not give up when things become difficult.
