Osaka Ohtani University is located in the southern part of Osaka, Japan’s second largest city. To the east is the ancient capital of Nara and to the north east of Osaka is the old capital of Kyoto, renowned for its shrines and temples. Osaka Ohtani University is, therefore, surrounded by history.
The university is one of five educational establishments organized by Ohtani Education Foundation whose headquarters are situated in Osaka City. Adjacent to the headquarters are Ohtani Junior School and Ohtani High School. Higashi Ohtani High School is located in Izumigaoka in Sakai City, and a kindergarten is within close proximity to the University.
